THE JOURNEY AHEAD
REBORN TOUR, POWERED BY HYUNDAI(not yet at least)
Queenscliff Sydney → Glenelg Beach Adelaide → Shaka Cafe Freshwater(this may change)
Commencing November 1 - First day of Movember
This tour marks the first structured chapter of a long term national journey.
WHAT THE JOURNEY INCLUDES
REBORN x Garage of Goodness is a national initiative focused on mental health, connection and recovery. Particularly within regional and coastal communities where access to support is limited.
• Regional and coastal travel across Australia, engaging communities outside major cities where mental health support is often harder to access
• Community conversations and activations, creating safe spaces for honest discussion around mental health, recovery and identity
• Wellness, recovery and reflection sessions, integrating movement, breathwork and nervous system regulation
• Collaborations with gyms, cafes and mentoring organisations, embedding the journey within existing community hubs
• Ongoing digital storytelling, shared via Instagram and the Garage of Goodness website, reaching an engaged and growing audience through real time updates, video content and written reflections
In Australia suicide remains one of the leading causes of death for men under 45, with higher risk in regional areas. This journey exists to help reduce isolation by bringing conversation, visibility and connection directly to communities.
The Hyundai vehicle is central to enabling safe, consistent travel between locations and acts as a visible symbol of progress, responsibility and support. Allowing the journey to move forward with purpose and reliability.
Phase One: Coastal Journey
Phase One of the REBORN Tour will be a coastal journey to Glenelg Beach, moving slowly along the coastline.
This phase is centred on:
• Surfing as a grounding and reflective practice
• Visiting people met through sobriety since moving to the Northern Beaches
• Reconnecting with family and friends who have since moved away
The focus is simple: presence, connection, and moving intentionally. The vehicle supports safe, reliable coastal travel while allowing the journey to unfold without urgency.
Phase Two: Endurance Ride Home
Phase Two is a 10 day endurance cycling ride from Glenelg Beach to Shaka Cafe in Freshwater.
The ride is a visible act of commitment. Combining physical endurance, daily presence and community connection. It serves as the primary fundraising focus for Movember. The journey will be supported by the vehicle to ensure safety and logistics throughout.
FUNDRAISING GOAL & IMPACT
$250,000 for Movember
The REBORN journey has a clear and deliberate fundraising goal:
To raise $250,000 for Movember, with 100% of funds donated directly to the organisation.
This fundraising effort supports Movember’s work in:
• Mental health and suicide prevention
• Early intervention and prevention
• Support for individuals, families, and communities
The November REBORN Tour, combined with the 10 day endurance cycling ride from Glenelg Beach to Shaka Cafe in Freshwater, has been intentionally designed to support this goal through sustained visibility, physical commitment and community engagement.
The scale of the goal reflects the scale of the journey with the belief that meaningful impact requires effort, time, and collective support.
Fundraising will be activated through:
• Community stops and conversations during the tour
• The 10 day endurance cycling challenge
• Daily storytelling and documentation
• Partner amplification and advocacy
